Youth Pravasi Bhartiya Divas Conference

“Role of Diaspora Youth in Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) – Innovation and New Technologies”

To mark the Pravasi Bhartiya Divas and India@75, a PBD Conference is being held on 09 January 2022 for the Youth. The Youth PBD Conference is aimed at deepening the Government of India’s engagement with the rapidly growing population of Youth Diaspora who have made a mark in the upcoming technologies and innovation.

This year the topic for discussion in the Conference is “Role of Diaspora Youth in AKAM – Innovation and New Technologies”. The conference will provide a platform for engaging the diaspora youth with members of India’s young achievers who share similar aspirations for discussing and exploring ideas to work in different areas related to technology and innovation that can create opportunities for networking and cooperation.

Due to unprecedented travel restrictions because of the pandemic, the event is being organized virtually. Shri V. Muraleedharan, Minister of State for External Affairs, Government of India would be delivering the keynote address at the Conference.
